Ronnie Mayhan, age 67, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2017 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Joel Bugas as Celebrant. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Ronnie Mayhan was born on September 9, 1949 in Amarillo, Texas to Carl H. Mayhan and Josephine (Beckett) Mayhan. He graduated from Boise City High School in 68. Ronnie attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University and served in the US Army. He worked for Lyle Perry Land & Cattle Company in Waukomis, Oklahoma for 12 years, then for Premium Standard Farms in Dalhart, Texas and Seaboard Farms in Johnson City, Kansas before going to work for Poole Chemical in Texline, Texas where he worked for 13 years and then retired. Ronnie was a member of the VFW Post 3271 in Clayton and was a charter member of the Clayton Elks Lodge and was serving as the Leading Knight at the time of his death. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Carl H. Mayhan, paternal grandparents; Luther and Addie Mayhan, maternal grandparents; James and Josie Beckett a brother; Steven Wayne Mayhan and an infant sister Debra Lynn.

2 SONS: Robert “Bobby” Mayhan of Clayton, New Mexico and Preston Webb of Seiling, Oklahoma.
1 DAUGHTER: Melissa Webb of Lubbock, Texas.
HIS MOTHER: Josephine Mayhan of Clayton, New Mexico.
4 Grandchildren: Cody Mayhan, Colton Smith, Gannon Duffy and Mikayla Webb.
1 SISTER: Fran Berry and her husband Nelson of Texhoma, Oklahoma.
