It was a one sided game for the first quarter of the JV game as Raton pulled out in front 14-0 to end the first quarter of play Thursday evening in Raton.
The JV Tigers kept it up as Coach Jose Archuleta played his full bench of boys Thursday evening for the win over the JV Rams.

The Ladies took to the floor next and what a game they gave the crowd at Tiger Gym keeping the game close the entire time. Raton had the lead when the first quarter buzzer sounded but by halftime and after a couple of lead changes the Lady Rams took the 2-point lead to the locker room.
Second half action saw the Lady Rams put it together and extend their lead out scoring Raton by five. The fourth quarter kept it pretty even as both teams played a defensive game that held the score to only 10 points for each team. As the final buzzer sounded Cimarron ladies had pulled out the win 49-43

The varsity boys warmed the court up as their fast paced game went back and forth with Cimarron taking an early and strong lead ending the first quarter 16-9. Raton however managed to make things click in the second quarter and outscored Cimarron 24-6 to take the lead at halftime.
The Rams came out of halftime charged and put up a strong defense but Raton broke through taking the ball to the hoop and outscoring Cimarron in the third while Cimarron rallied in the fourth to out score Raton but it was too little to late as Raton took the win at 62-45
