schulte-eErma is best remembered for her business of baking and decorating wonderfully tasting birthday and wedding cakes that delighted her customers and friends. If she baked your wedding cake, you not only got an elegant, breathtaking cake and a signature groom’s cake, you also got Erma at your reception cutting and serving her masterpiece so that each slice was presented just so. Erma also served as the bookkeeper for Al’s Fix-it Shop, the appliance repair service she and her late husband, Albert, owned. Through it all, her family always came first.

Erma was also a wonderful cook and took delight in hosting many years of large family gatherings often with generous servings of her delicious ravioli that always ended with a beautifully decorated dessert.

A Celebration of Life for Erma is planned for the warmer months of late spring or summer at St. Patrick’s – St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton, NM and interment by Yaksich-Long Funeral Home at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
