Anita E. Vigil, age 58 of Springer, NM, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM.
She was born on September 8, 1958 in Las Vegas, NM, the daughter of Tom and Eloisa Vigil. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Springer, NM.
Anita worked in billing, accounting and credentialing in the medical field. She loved the outdoors, gardening, and taking long walks. Anita loved talking about many varied subjects with her nephews and nieces for hours. She was their friend, supporter, confidant and accomplice in whatever they did. She was very strong in her faith and loved her family and by her family. She will be dearly missed.
Anita is preceded in death by her father Tom Vigil and grandparents.
She is survived by her mother Eloisa Vigil of Springer, NM, sisters Pam Seidel and husband Ronald of Raton, NM, Dorine Gutierrez and husband David of Springer, NM and special friend Dr. Charles Montgomery of California, nephews and nieces, Ronnie (Amy) Seidel, Matthew Seidel, Diana (Javier) Escalante, Leona (Shane) Haver, Keith (Veronica) Gutierrez, Amanda Gutierrez, great nephews and nieces, Veronica, Nikolas, Kane, Ellyanna, Brimley, Abel, Jeramiah and Kyleigh and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM at St. Josephs’ Catholic Church in Springer, NM, recited by the Legend of Mary. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 1:30 PM with Father Emmanuel Izuka as the celebrant. Burial will follow at the Springer Cemetery.
