Manuelita (Mela) Lucero Peebles passed away November 8, 2016 at the age of 88 after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose De La Luz and Ofelia Sisneros, husband Sostenes Lucero, sons, Paul Lucero, George Raymond Lucero, Daniel Lucero and daughter, Vera Martinez.
Survivors include, husband Woody Peebles of the home in Raton, New Mexico. sons: Tony Sisneros, Raton, New Mexico, Mike Lucero and Veronica of Raton, John Lucero and Pat of Raton, Manuel Lucero and Juanita of Raton, and Phillip Lucero of Albuquerque, NM. daughters: Susan Lucero of Clovis, NM. Linda Benavidez and Max of Bernalillo, NM. Step-son Woodford Peebles, Jr. and Belinda of San Diego, CA, step-daughter Karen Peebles and Tod Day, 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services for Manuelita (Mela) Peebles are pending and are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
