In Loving Memory of Margaret Esquibel

Margaret Esquibel age 86 was born on November 4, 1930 and died on November 4, 2016 at Colfax Nursing Home. She was born in Taylor Springs to Arminio Apodaca and Antonia Hurtado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers Anselmo Apodaca and Sisters, Oclires and Dora. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Justin Esquibel. Daughters Dorthy and husband Olmedo Ramirez, daughter Donna Esquibel of Albuquerque, Sons David Esquibel and spouse Iris Leyba of Springer, Son Steve Mares and Spouse Agnes of Springer. Survived by her sister Juanita Mares and spouse Gilbert of Springer, Brother Joe Apodaca of Springer. Grand children, Damian and Michael Ramirez, Paul and Gerald Mares, Daniel and Deanna Trujillo and Beverlee and Jaclyn Cassidy. Great-grandchildren, Raeleigh Ramirez, Cordelia Tafoya, Austin Mares, Payton Mares, Matt Gold Jr., Santiago Gold, Jocelin Gold, Jacob Gold. Beckham and Blake Kidd Brooke Montez Isabelle Rodriguez-Armijo Jacob and Jude Armijo Many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Margaret worked at Colfax Nursing Home for 30 years before her retirement. Due to Illness she lived her last days of her life at Colfax Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary for Margaret Esquibel, recited by Stella Aguilar and Martha Lopez, on Saturday November, 19th at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Solemn Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. with Father Emmanuel Ezukka Officiating. Rite of Committal and inurnment will follow at the Springer Cemetery.

Arrangements for Margaret Esquibel are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
