Wessley Duran, age 28, passed away at Parkview Medical Center on November 2, 2016.
He was born in Pueblo, Colorado on March 1, 1988, the son of Theresa Beverly Duran and Martin L. Mestas.
He attended area schools graduating from Trinidad High School in 2006. Wess attended TSJC, receiving a degree in Diesel Mechanics and Welding.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He also liked to arrowhead hunt. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and friends.
Preceding him in death are grandparents Tony Lamorie, Theresa and Henry Duran, and uncle Rocky Kaiser.
He is survived by parents Theresa Beverly Duran and Martin L Mestas, Trinidad, sister Melissa Mestas, Jansen, brother John Henry Mestas, Jansen, grandparents: Gloria Duran Starkey, Weston, Elizabeth Celenza, Tucson, AZ, aunts and uncles: Donna and Lloyd Celenza-Sweet, Joy Medina, Roxann Fernandez, Roger Mestas, Howard (Sabina) Mestas, nieces and nephews including Santana Mestas and Trinity Martinez, numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9th at the Comi Chapel from 3PM-6PM.
Rosary will be Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 7PM at Sebastiani Gym
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 10, 2016, 10AM at Sebastani Gym.
Interment with Rite of Committal will follow at the Weston Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Howard Mestas, Gerald Boulier, Joey Lopez, Timothy John Fernandez, Roger Mestas, Ronnie Monteleone and all of his friends.
Active pallbearers are Seth Garcia, Rob Sanchez, Ryan Griego, Anthony Armijo, Lucas Mestas, Chris Nixon and Rico Garcia.
