POR REBECCA HOY, ESCRIBANA DEL CONDADO COLFAX
Pursuant to Election Laws of the State of New Mexico, as amended, I Rebecca Hoy, County Clerk of the County of Colfax, by virtue of the authority vest in me, do hereby issue the following proclamation:
Conforme disponen las leyes del Estado de Nuevo México, según esas leyes fueron modificadas, Yo, Rebecca Hoy, Escribana del Condado de Colfax, conforme a la autoridad que me han otorgado, por la presente expido la proclamación a continuación:
That a General Election be, and in the same is hereby called to be, held throughout the County of Colfax and in each Precinct thereof, on the 8th day of November 2016: and
Que se convoque una Elección General y por la presente se convoca dicha elección que tendrá lugar el 8 de noviembre 2016 en todo el Condado de Colfax y en cada uno de los recintos electorales de dicho Condado: y
That the general election shall be appicable to the following political parties, to wit: the Democratic Party; Republican Party; the Independent American Party of New Mexico; the Constitiution Party; the Libertarian Party of New Mexico; the New Mexico Independent Party; and the Green Party of New Mexico and all other voters.
Que la elección general aplicara a los partidos políticos indicados a continuación, a saber: el Partido Demócrata; el Partido Republicano; el Partido American Independiente de Nuevo México; el Partido Constitucional de Nuevo México; el Partido Libertario; el Partido Independiente de Nuevo México; el Partido Verde de Nuevo México y todos los otros votantes.

Proposing an amendment to article 2, section 13 of the Constitution of New Mexico to protect community safety by granting courts new authority to deny release on bail pending trial for dangerous defendants in felony cases while retaining the right to pretrial release for non-dangerous defendants who do not pose a flight risk.
Proponiendo una enmienda al Artículo 2, Sección 13 de la Constitución de Nuevo México para proteger la seguridad de la comunidad mediante la concesión de tribunales nueva autoridad para negar la libertad bajo fianza en espera de juicio para los acusados peligrosos en caso de delitos graves, conservando el derecho a la liberación preventiva para los acusados no peligrosos que no representan un riesgo de vuelo.

Persons who have requested absentee ballots, but have not received them may come into the Colfax County Clerk’s Office, sign an affidavit, and be issued a replacement ballot until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016.
