Lou Anna J. Casias, age 83, passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 16, 2016.
She was born in Medina, Colorado, on August 7, 1933, the daughter of Mary S. (Perea) and Hugh Flynn.
Lou Anna managed the K & M Car Wash for 20 years until her retirement.
She was a kind and giving person, caring for both her parents and godson until their passing.
Lou Anna loved the daily feeding of “her” birds that came to her home. She liked to tend to her yard and loved gardening.
She was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Parish and a member of the Sociedad de Nuestra de Guadalupe.
Preceding her in death are parents Mary and Hugh Flynn, husband John Casias, nephew Alan Bueno, brothers in law Bob Moore and Ben Shannon.
Left to cherish her memory is son, Richard J. Alvarez (Joyce C. Eatman), Colorado Springs, CO, granddaughter Darla Alvarez, CA, sisters Minnie Shannon, Lucille Moore both of Colorado Springs, Co., nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 1PM at Sebastiani Gym.
Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad, Catholic Cemetery.
