In Loving Memory of Salvador Arrazola

Salvador Arrazola passed away on October 10, 2016 at the Joni Fair Hospice House in Pueblo, CO.  He was born to Jose Arrazola and Maria (Ramirez) Arrazola on March 18, 1935 in Trinidad, CO.

 

arrazolaSalvador attended school Trinidad, CO graduating from Trinidad High School in 1953. He had a long work history, working many years for a number of construction companies completing many projects, bridges, highways, and buildings all over Colorado. Salvador retired in 2014 from Mt. San Rafael Hospital after 25 years of dedicated service. He was a jack of all trades, able to fix or build just about anything. Salvador was a member of the Los Amigos Riding Club, the Optimist Club, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Salvador enjoyed watching sports, especially the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and Denver Nuggets. He also loved watching rodeos, horse racing, car races and hunting with his buddies.   

 

He was preceded in death by his father Jose Arrazola, sister Dolores Arrazola, father Max Martinez, daughter Shirley Arrazola, mother Maria Martinez and brother John Arrazola.

 

He is survived by his children, Arlene (Gil) Lopez, Trinidad; Rita (Robert) Carpenter, Norfolk, Virginia; Dan Arrazola, Trinidad; Cathy (Rick) Cimino, Colorado Springs, CO; Gerri (Anthony) Gardunio, Aurora, CO; Berni Arrazola, Trinidad, CO; Robert (Kris) Arrazola, Pueblo, CO. Also surviving are grandchildren Aaron and Gilbert Lopez, Nathaniel Carpenter, Raelynn (Chris) Garcia, Zachary (Magan) Arrazola, Seth (Shantel) Arrazola, Trinton Arrazola, Raine Cimino, Kaetlynn and Kyle Gardunio, Billy (Stevie Mock) and Bethany Arrazola-Stanton, Rashelle and Megan Arrazola; and eight great-grandchildren. Salvador is also survived by brothers Joe Arrazola, Joe Max Martinez, and David Martinez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Pallbearers will be sons Dan and Robert Arrazola, sons-in-law, Anthony Gardunio, Bill Stanton, and grandsons Billy Arrazola-Stanton and Aaron Lopez.

 

Visitation will be at the Comi Chapel  from 2PM- 6PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 followed by a rosary at Sebastiani Gym at 7PM.  Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10AM at Sebastiani Gym.

 

Interment with Rite of Committal will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
