Danessa Lynn Garduno-Nunez, age 19, passed away September 29, 2016.
She was born in Trinidad, Colorado on September 23, 1997.
She attended area schools, graduating from Trinidad High School in 2016.
Danessa was a cheerleader for 6 years and enjoyed playing soccer at THS.
She also worked at High Sierra Theatre.
She was currently attending UCCS in Colorado Springs, pursuing a degree in nursing.
She loved being around her family and friends. Danesssa was very strong willed and had a great sense of humor. She had an optimistic outlook on life and was the most creative and gifted person you would ever meet.
Preceding her in death are sisters Hope and Arleanne Runion, grandfathers Dave Garduno and Gene Pacheco and cousin Tiana Garduno.
Left to cherish her memory are Mom and Papa, Priscilla and Bobby Garduno, Mommy and Dad, Serena and Manuel Runion, the love of her life, Louie Santistevan, brothers Isaac and Phoenix Runion, Aunts and Uncles, Vikki Garduno and Mike Muniz, Matt Garduno and Susie Villasenor, Chad Sanchez, Grandparents, Jennie Garduno, Helen Pacheco, Liz Henry, Bob Nunez, Sam Henry, Angie Casaus, cousins, Taneshia, Ally, Issiah, Matthew, Adrian, Anthony and Caesar Garduno and her special pet, Sophie.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3PM-6PM at the Comi Chapel.
Rosary will be Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 7PM at Sebastiani gym.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 10AM at Sebastiani Gym
Interment with Rite of Committal will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery,.
Active pallbearers are Matt Garduno, Louie Santistevan, Isaac Runion, Mike Muniz, Issiah Garduno and Brian Shaw.
