The Lady Tigers returned home and remain undefeated on the volleyball court with a three game win over the Monte Del Sol Lady Dragons Saturday afternoon, September 10th in Tiger Gym.
The MDS Lady Dragons JV team played the Lady Tigers close for both games and in the end pulled out two wins to take the match. The JV Lady Dragons did a good job keeping the ball in play but had their fair share of misses as did the Lady Tigers which allowed the game to stay close.

The Varsity Lady Tigers came out a little slow but pulled ahead in the game about midway through. The girls had good play at the net with Alina Pilmore going for the blocks often and making the spikes. Raton despite a close game pulled it out in the end by three.
Game two caught MDS either sleeping or way out of sync as Raton pulled out to an early and expansive lead winning the game with solid net play and blocking.
Game three however was a back and forth game with both teams coming up with the tie. The game was tied several times even coming up to 22 tied. Raton then put up the smoke and sent a couple of hits hard across the net for points to win the game by three.
