July 4th, 1943 – September 6th, 2016Alberta entered eternal life on September 6th, 2016. She was born and raised in Trinidad, Colorado to Mary (Barrett) Fouret and George D. Fouret Sr. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Schools and graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1961.
On December 30th, 1961 she married Jimmy Kerby of Trinidad, Colorado and they had 3 children. They relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1964 and have lived in that area ever since.
Alberta worked in various capacities over the years but found her greatest satisfaction in working for the Colorado Springs Utilities Water Department as a Senior Office Manager as well as working for SC Johnson Wax as a Sales Representative in the Southern Colorado Region.
She was a very loving wife and mother and always put her family first. She was passionate about life and brought joy and happiness to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Jimmy Kerby of Monument, Colorado, sister Marlene Veltri of Trinidad, Colorado, sons Allen and Joe Kerby, daughter Lisa Kerby. Also, 3 grandchildren Brian Crow, and Madison and Shae Kerby. She also enjoyed her 3 great grandchildren Skyla, Ashlin and Kayli Green.
Alberta was preceded in death by her father George D. Fouret Sr., mother Mary (Barrett) Fouret, and brother George D. Fouret Jr.
