Evelyn E. Bisulco entered Heaven on August 26, 2016. She was 97.
She was born on March 27, 1919 to Lois Morrow and James Finch.
Evelyn was united in marriage to Maurice Bisulco on February 8, 1941.
In 1945, Evelyn, together with her sister-in-law, Lena Zuech, owned and operated the La Mesa Café in Trinidad, CO.
In 1955, she was employed by the Mason Candy Co. in Trinidad as a confectionary. She also worked at the NYA where she was taught how to sew.
Evelyn worked for Safeway as a butcher from 1956, until retiring 37 years later on September 1, 1979.
Her favorite pastime was gambling, and she enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas and Cripple Creek. She also attended many World Series games and Super Bowl games. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
Evelyn enjoyed fishing, cooking and made amazing cookies.
Preceding her in death is mother Lois, father Charles Smith, husband Maurice Bisulco, sisters, Julie (Gregg) DeBella, Eunice (John) Serra, Jimmie (Joe) Bassetti, brothers John Carol (Mabel) Smith, Charles B. (Iva) Smith, brothers and sisters-in-law, Nick (Mary) Bisulco, Joe (Helen) Bisulco, Alex (Evelyn) Bisulco, Ann (Mike) Dosen, Lena (Joe) Lorenzoni and Marie Moskwa.
Evelyn leaves behind nieces and nephews, Joe (Phyllis) Bassetti, Bobbie (Matt) Lucero, J.C. (Missy) Serra, Pat (Debby) Milinazzo, Debbie (Michael) Riccatone, Joani (Harvard) Johnson, Dave (Anna Marie) Moskwa, Judy (Frank) Milavec, Jane (Roy) Mitchell and Janet (Glenn) Givens.
She is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and good friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2PM-6PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 1PM at the Comi Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Matt, Rob and Bret Lucero, Pat Milinazzo, Jack and Jake Stanton,, Jared Horvat, Homer Jones and Michael Riccatone.
