Domenic Gatti, age 57 of Dearborn, Michigan, Raton, NM and Fayette, Alabama, passed away July 11th, 2016.
He was the son of the late Robert and Frances Gatti of Raton, NM.
Domenic is survived by his wife Adella Gatti; sons Vincent and Stephen; grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Vincent Jr. and Giovanni; Sisters Pat Gatti and Kathy Linker of Arizona; nieces Anita Guerra and Maria Black of Arizona; and a vast array of extended family and friends.
Domenic was a graduate of Raton High School in the class of 1976. Upon his graduation he spent over 35 years in the coal mining industry. Domenic also spent several years working with the Raton Public School system. He also spent years working for St. Patrick’s / St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton. Domenic was also a craftsman and built or renovated several homes throughout his life. Domenic loved sports and being outdoors and coached several youth league sports through his life.
Domenic and he wife Adella (Sisneros) Gatti were married for 39 years and had been together as a couple for over 42 years.
Domenic was beloved by all who knew him. And he will be greatly missed by many.
There will be a small service and viewing on Thursday July 21st, 2016 at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton, New Mexico from 11 am – 4:00 pm. At 5:00 pm there will be a small reception for family and friends at the Raton Convention Center.
