Jose Antonio Mascarenas Jr.,age 64, passed away on June 26, 2016 in Springer, New Mexico.
He was born February 22nd, 1952, to Jose Antonio Sr., and Nancy Mascarenas.
Tony worked for the York Canyon Mine for 15 years. He enjoyed camping and fishing, spending lots of time at the lake. He lived life to the fullest, many times making his own rules. His uniqueness to life will be sadly missed by all his friends and family. Tony’s real love was riding motorcycles which he enjoyed riding most of his adult life
He is survived by his father Jose, sister Joyce, brother Patrick and son Michael. He also has two grandchildren.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother Nancy, sister Ruth and brother Kenneth.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will take place Friday, July, 15, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and will be recited by Deacon Tom Alderette. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Father Bill Woytavich officiating. Rite of Committal and inurnment will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements for Antonio Jose Mascarenas Jr. are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
