Javier A. Menchaca age 64 of Raton passed away on June 10, 2016. He was born on January 6, 1952 in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico to Francisco Avila and Enedina Menchaca.
He is survived by his wife Veronica Menchaca of Raton, daughter Vanessa N. Menchaca of Raton, sons: Nelson N. Menchaca (Tara K PFalmer) of Ft. Collins, CO, and Frank J. Menchaca of Raton, one sister Elena Benitez of El Paso, 8 grandchildren: Nelson B. Gonzales, Anthony M. Menchaca, Destiny G. Menchaca, Emma Menchaca, Genuine A. Menchaca, Alyssa A. Menchaca, Isaiah Menchaca, and Domonique C. Menchaca.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Patrick/ St. Joseph’s Catholic Church followed by the Solemn Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at a later date.
