Meeting Purpose: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration is sponsoring this meeting to discuss the Phase A/B report findings, present the recommended preferred alternative, and receive comments from the public. The project improvements being considered include pavement reconstruction, drainage improvements, rockfall mitigation, wildlife fencing, ramp improvements and bridge rehabilitation at Exit 454, and construction of a new Exit 460 interchange at a location south of the existing interchange. The public is encouraged to attend this public meeting and provide comments and questions on the proposed project.
