Jason Phillips with the Raton Public Works department has shared a set of instructions on how to open the new bear proof dumpsters. Phillips has been getting a lot of calls on how to open the new dumpsters. Public works has over 100 of the new dumpsters spread out in Raton now.
Will they be adding more bear proof dumpsters?
Yes they have about 700 dumpsters posted throughout town.
