Boog Trainham age 86 of Raton, passed away Monday May 16, 2016 in Raton. He was born April 17, 1930 in Dalhart, TX, the son of William J. Trainham and Lottie B. Coffman-Trainham. He was a rancher and member of the PRCA and New Mexico State University Rodeo Hall of Fame.
Boog is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife Maxine of the home, three daughters, Pam Woody and husband Leonard of Arvada, CO, Heidi Karr and husband Gerard of Folsom, NM and Tracie Proffitt of Roswell, NM., one son Bruce Trainham and wife Penny of Folsom, NM., nine grandchildren and fourteen and a half great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday May 21, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eric Armstrong officiating, burial will be in the Maxwell cemetery in Maxwell.
