Tony Satroplus (85) of Capulin, New Mexico passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2016.
Tony is survived by his children, Ronald Satroplus and wife, Gloria, Karen Satroplus-Marsh & son-in-law, Michael Marsh, Melissa Satroplus-Burden & son-in-law, Mark Burden & Greg Satroplus. He was blessed to be surrounded by 10 grandchildren, Rodrick, Courtney, Daniel, Andrew, Kristopher, Tyler, Ryan, Samantha, Tony and Roman, and 12 great grandchildren.
He was reunited in Heaven and preceded in death by his beloved wife, Caroline Cruz-Satroplus, daughter, Jeanette Kohl, son-in-law, Steven Lee Kohl, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Tony was born on October, 31, 1930 in Burlington, Colorado to Antonio Satroplus & Edna (Wood) Satroplus, also preceding him in death.. After school he joined the United States Army and married Caroline Cruz on December1, 1951. They resided in New Mexico throughout their marriage and raised their 5 children in Capulin.
Tony had a special love for sports and enjoyed bowling late into life. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He and Carol took many trips up to Colorado & Nevada where they could enjoy time at various casinos.

Holy Rosary: Thursday, May 19th 7 pm
Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Des Moines, NM
Funeral Mass: Friday, May 20th, 10 am Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Des Moines, NM, interment immediately following at Folsom Catholic Cemetery
