Thomas Lee Alford (Toast), age 47, went on his final ride on May 12, 2016 to be with the Lord.
Thomas was born October 31, 1968 in Raton, NM.
He was a longtime resident of Trinidad.
Thomas served in the National Guard. He ran a successful business for 20 years as a locksmith and handyman in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. He spent many years bartending and also as a DJ at the local bars in Trinidad.
Thomas had a great work ethic. He loved to spend time with his family and party with his friends. Everyone remembers Thomas for the laughter, his smile and outgoing happy nature.
Thomas had many lifelong friends.
He loved the outdoors and riding his motorcycle. Most of all Thomas loved sporting his grandbabies. He loved them with ALL of him.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father Smiley Alford and his grandparents Lee and Isabel Sisneros.
Thomas is survived by his parents, Angela and James (Popie) Sparrow, sister Marleen (Jason) Enlow, all of Tahlequah, OK, brother David Duran Sr., sister Toni Basso both of Trinidad, son Lance (Alysa) Alford, Raton, NM, son Ronnie Lara, daughter Shawna Claflin both of Trinidad, grandchildren, Selene, Gage, Malachi and Luna, nephews Mark and Matthew, many aunts, uncles, cousins and true friends, Laurie, Ryan, John, Kenneth, Jared, Don, Leslie and many many more,
In lieu of flowers, people may make donations in his memory at the Power Credit Union in Trinidad, CO.
Graveside services and entombment will be held Wednesday, May18, 2016 at 2PM at the Trinidad Masonic Cemetery.
