The State of New Mexico will proclaim Thursday, May 19, 2016 as “Paul Modrich Day”. The Proclamation will be presented at 6 pm to 2015 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and member of the RHS Class of 1964, Dr. Paul Modrich, at the historicShuler Theater in Raton. The presentation will be followed by a reception at the Pappas’ Sweet Shop Restaurant in Raton hosted by RHS Class of 1964. Events are also being sponsored by Raton MainStreet.
The following evening, Dr. Modrich will deliver the commencement address at the graduation ceremony at Raton High School.
