JoAnn Fouret Reorda, age 85, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2016 with her family by her side.
She was born in Trinidad, Colorado on May 26, 1930 to Mary (Tallero) and Joseph P. Fouret. JoAnn attended Holy Trinity High School, graduating in 1948. She was a homemaker and a very active, lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she served as an organist for many years.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 60 years Pete A. Reorda, her parents Mary and Joseph, brothers Albert and Robert Fouret, her sisters Dorothy Palisano, and Mary Ellen Larsen.
She is survived by five children, Tom (Linda) Reorda, Lenexa KS., Bob (Sharon) Reorda, Snoqualmie, WA, Patricia (Mike) Coszalter, Cabot, AR, Bill (Nancy) Reorda, Longmont, CO, and Larry Reorda, Littleton, CO, 6 grandchildren, Lisa (Tejay) Walters, Brad (Anna) Reorda, Lindsey (Travis) Lindemoen, Doug Reorda, Kaylee Reorda and Paige Reorda, 7 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Haylie and Avrie Walters, Hunter and Hadley Reorda and Max and Hudson Lindemoen, her twin brother Joe (Barbara) Fouret, brothers-in-law, Joe (Olga) Reorda and John (Yvonne) Reorda, sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Reorda, Ann Monteleone and Theresa Paravecchio, cousin, Marlene Veltri, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Comi Chapel from 3 PM-7 PM. Rosary will be held May 19th at 7:00 PM at Comi Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 20th at 1:00 PM at Sebastiani Gym.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Brad Reorda, Doug Reorda, John Reorda, Wayne Reorda, Tyler Walters and Travis Lindemoen.
In lieu of flowers, people wishing to do so may make contributions to Holy Trinity Catholic Church Renovations.
