In Loving Memory of Robert Paul Shew

Robert Paul Shew, age 45, passed away at home on May 4, 2016.

He was born in Alamosa, CO on August 22, 1970. Bob attended area schools graduating from Trinidad High School in 1988. He then attended TSJC for 1 year.

Robert was very creative and loved to build things. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed arrowhead hunting with his nieces, McKenna and Adrian.

His greatest passion was firefighting and being a member of the Fisher’s Peak Fire Department.

A loving Son, Brother, Uncle and Best Friend, he will be missed by all who were fortunate to have had him in their lives.

Preceding him in death are grandparents, Rae(Bert) Bulson, Lena (Frank) Shew and aunt Marge Vallejos.

He is survived by parents Jan and Franklin Shew, Trinidad, siblings, Chris Shew, Trinidad, Erin (Steven) Vigil, Midland, TX, Nicholas (Cindy) Shew, Trinidad, Roxanne (Trevor) Blunk, Ft. Collins, CO, nieces and nephews, McKenna, Adrian, Leon, Cheyenne, Isabella, Dante, numerous aunts and uncles including special aunts,  Jaquie Gipson and Barbara Mraz, numerous friends and his extended family of the Fisher’s Peak Fire Department.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10 AM at the First United Methodist Church with Rev.Andrea Doden officiating.

Private family inurnment at a later date.
