Rebecca Jean Barry, known as Jeanie to her friends, went to be with her Lord and savior on April 28, 2016 peacefully in her home.
She was born in Raton, New Mexico on October 25, 1952. Jeanie grew up in Cimarron, New Mexico. She eventually moved to Vermejo Park and married the love of her life in 1974. She enjoyed being outdoors fishing, gardening and was even known to hunt once in awhile. She was also an amazing seamstress.
Jeanie is survived by her son, Bandon Barry of Trinidad, Colorado, her daughter, Christine Barry and partner Dave Piancino of Raton, and daughter Amanda Barry of Raton. She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she adored, Alexandra and Rae Jean Barry, Christeana Piancino, Danielle Barrett of Trinidad, Colorado as well as three great grandchildren, Ethan, Anthony and Rose Lee.
Jeanie is preceded in death by her Parents, MC “ Bud” Webb and Annie Webb and her husband of 27 years Raymond Barry.
Jeanie was loved by all who knew her, She will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 4, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at the Family Worship Center on Thursday May 5, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. Internment will immediately follow at the Fairmont Cemetery.
