Santa Fe – The Office of the State Engineer and the Town of Springer will celebrate the recent completion of the new Springer Dam with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, May 2, 2016. The event will be followed by a guided tour of the new structure.
The new dam replaces the former dams which no longer met federal and state safety guidelines. The water stored in the dam provides the Town of Springer’s water supply.
