Trella Pearl Graham passed away April 17, 2016.
She was born May 19, 1922 to Roy and Florence Brown. Her Father, Roy passed away in 1939 and her Mother, Florence passed away in 1998.
Trella married John H. Graham on July 29, 1941 in Clayton, New Mexico. They were married for 75 years until his passing in 2014. Trella was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Trigg Brown, and by two sisters-in-law, Kathrine Brown and Frances Brown, one great grand daughter, Gabby Dyess and one great great grandson, Lane Matthew.
Trella is survived by seven children, Kenneth Graham of Raton, John Roy Graham and wife Connie of Albuquerque, Florence Brogan and husband Pat of Hilliard Ohio, Sandra Castellini and husband Albert of Raton, Anna Hill and husband Ron of Kansas, Roger Graham and wife LaRayne of Raton and Sherri Johnson and husband Steve of Lubbock Texas. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Trella was a member of the Farley extension club for many many years and loved helping to organize the Farley reunions. Trella loved music and especially listening to her brothers play the piano and guitar. John and Trella loved going to the Farley dances, we understand they were excellent dancers. Trella was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family very much. She was especially dedicated to her special needs son, Kenny. She spent many hours transporting Kenny and his friends to many special needs events.
Mom will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. We love you Mom.
The Family of Trella Graham would like to thank Hope’s Assisted Living and MCMC Long Term Care for all the wonderful care she received during her stay at both facilities. A big thanks to Robin and Angela and all the staff from hospice, also Dr Christine Lopez for her compassion and care for our Mother. What a blessing all of you have been.
Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Saturday April 23, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel with Jeremy Johnston officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery.
