Alicia Maria Montoya, age 84, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Oakland, California.
Rosary will be recited at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 by Deacon P. Louis Montoya and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton with Fr. Joel Bugas as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Alicia Maria Montoya was born on June 28, 1931 in Bueyeros, New Mexico to Marcos Montoya and Aurelia (Lovato) Montoya. She was fondly known by all as Lisha. She lived in Clayton until her parents died and then moved to Oakland, California to live with her sister Martha and her family. After Martha died Lisha was cared for by Joseph CDeBaca and a great-niece Crystal and the rest of the CDeBaca family in Oakland, California.
Lisha was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters Jeannie Basaldoa, Mary Rodriguez, Josie Taylor and Martha CDeBaca and two brothers Severo Montoya and Abran Montoya.
SURVIVORS:
1 SISTER: Annie Sanchez and her husband Johnny of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 BROTHER: Joseph CDeBaca of Oakland, California.
Numerous nieces and nephews and several friends in Clayton and California.
