Carlos Gonzales, of Starkville, Colorado, passed away on March 18, 2106. He was 72.
Carlos was born in Starkville, CO on September 25, 1943 to Jake and Carmen (Montoya) Gonzales.
He was employed by and retired from UPS.
Preceding him in death are father Jake Gonzales, brother Mario Gonzales and sister in law Becky Gonzales.
Survivors are wife Frances (Lucero) Gonzales, three daughters Denise Gonzales, Lisa (Rotondo) Gonzales both of Colorado Springs and Cindy (Nick) Shew of Trinidad, CO, six grandchildren Joey (Ashley) Abeyta Jr., Chelsea Rotondo, Mariah Espinoza, Alyssa (Roberto) Ayala, Dante Shew and Isabella “Lola” Shew, three great grandchildren Lyniah Retana, Ariya Ayala and Josiah Retana.
Also surviving are his mother Carmen Gonzales, six brothers Jake (Patsy) Gonzales, Frank (Betty) Gonzales, of Colorado Springs, CO, Ben Gonzales, George (Irene) Gonzales, Henry (Diane) Gonzales, all of Starkville, CO and Tom Gonzales, Trinidad, CO, and sister Diana (Gonzales) Cress, Colorado Springs, CO, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23rd from 2 PM-7 PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 11 AM at Faith Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Bill Frashuer officiating.
Cremation to follow with private family inurnment at a later date.
