In Loving Memory of Amalia Zamora – KRTN Enchanted Air Radio

Amalia Zamora joined the Lord on March 11, 2016 at the age of 91.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Zamora; husband, Pedro Leal; daughter, Priscilla Castillo; grandsons, Jordan Aerts and Kevin Garcia; granddaughter, Mary Harper Martinez; mother, Elvira Martinez; father, Abel Medina; sisters, Odelia Casaus, Lucinda Medina and Erlinda Padilla, brothers, Arthur “Art” Martinez, Ben Martinez and Demesio Martinez.

She is survived by six generations; children, Francis Aguilar, Josephine (Ruben) Nevarez, Georgia (Jose) Martinez, Ray (AnnaMay Gomez) Zamora, Frank (Gloria) Zamora, David Zamora, Elvira ” Vera” (Paul) Lyons, Manuel Martinez, Lorrie Zamora (Adam), and 139 grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and great great great-grandchildren; numerous family and friends.

A viewing will be on Thursday, March 17th, 2016 from 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM at the Romero Family Funeral Home in Denver, CO. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM also at the Romero Family Funeral Home in Denver.

Another viewing will be held in Cimarron, New Mexico at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Saturday March 19th from 9:00 AM to 9:40 AM followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 AM and Rite of Committal and Interment at the Mt. View Cemetery.

Arrangements for Amailia Zamora are under the direction of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton.
