Audrey Anna (Theresa) Montoya, age 81, passed away at home on March 10, 2016.
She was born in Yugoslavia on January 17, 1935. She moved to Trinidad in the early seventies where she resided until her passing.
She loved cooking for her family and caring for her little dog Shirley Mae. Theresa was a faithful wife and companion, stepmother and friend. Her kindness will be missed by many.
Theresa was united in marriage to Cipriano Montoya who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by step daughter Dora Powell.
She is survived by son Peter Stephens of Yugoslavia, her stepchildren Cipriano Rudy Montoya (Trinidad, CO), Elsie (John) England (Colorado Springs, CO), stepson-in-law Carl Powell (Colorado Springs, CO), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
At her request, there will be cremation with no services.
