Lucy F. Trujillo, 75, of Raton, passed peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on March 7th, 2016. She was born January 10, 1941.
She will be remembered by her family and friends for her unwavering support and dedication, selflessness in every situation, and unconditional love. Her comforting presence and infectious laughter will be sorely missed.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents Nasario and Anna Trujillo, sister Rosie Sylvester, son Thomas Sedillo, Sr., grandsons James Ortiz and Thomas Sedillo, Jr., and great granddaughter Ava Pearl Hosmer.
She is survived by her partner Joe Archuleta, children Mona Mico, Phillip Sedillo and wife Martha, Martin Sedillo and wife Lorri, Michael Sedillo and wife Marie, Amy Sedillo, Lisa Balizan and husband Chris, and daughter-in-law Amelia Leavitt. Sisters Roberta Bruns, Isabel Medina, Ida Garcia and husband Joe, Theresa Kumer and husband Butch, Patsy Granado and husband Nick, brothers Nasario Trujillo, Jr. and wife Ramos, Lawrence Trujillo and wife Fabby, and Tony Trujillo. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
The recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 11th at 7:00 PM. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Saturday, March 12th at 10:00 AM with Father John Trambley as the Celebrant. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements for Lucy F. Trujillo are under the care and direction of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton.
