In Loving Memory of Willie T. Grady

Willie Grady, known to most of his friend as simply Junior passed away on March 1, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. 

 

grady wWillie was born on February 28th 1964 in California. After high school, Junior went into the military as Corpsman in the United States Navy. Willie had a love for sports as he was a standout basketball player in high school.  Love for sports started when he was a young boy. He loved watching football, especially his beloved Oakland Raiders. Junior enjoyed playing video games, and he loved nothing more than playing Black Ops on the Xbox.

 

He was a family man, a loving husband to his wife Dawn and a loving father to his daughter Keira. He loved being outdoors and doing anything that involved being with family. His personality was bigger than life. Junior made everyone around him smile with his big personality. He leaves a lasting memory on all that knew him.

 

Junior is preceded in death by mother Willie Mae Grady, grandfather Robert Ozzello, nephew Austin Cordova, and uncle Paul Cordova,

 

Junior is survived by loving his wife Dawn Cordova, daughter Keira Grady, sisters Patricia Grady and Lori (Warren) Stanley, brother Leon Grady, father Willie J. Grady, father in-law and mother-in-law Richard and Yvonne Cordova, grandmother Lucille Ozzello, brothers-in-law Kyle Cordova, Richard Cordova Jr., Daniel (Lucinda) Cordova and Devon Cordova, sisters-in-law Corey (Matt Gonzales), Dana Cordova, Randi (Carlos) Chacon, Niccole Cordova and Joey Cordova, nephews Terrel Stanley, Tremel Stanley and Bodi Chacon, nieces Charli Chacon, Danielle Cordova, Brittany Cordova and Kamyrn Baca Cordova and great nephew Kenyan Stanley. 

 

Visitation will be Friday from 3:30PM-7PM at the Comi Chapel.

 

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 14, 2016 with Funeral Mass at 10AM at Sebastiani Gym.

 

Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery with military honors conducted by the United Sates Naval Honor Guard.

 

Arrangements made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.

    D’Janey Patrice Grady, his 29 year old daughter, and his 26 year old son, RaJah Lamar Fortune-Grady, both traveled from San Diego to honor their father’s passing and to attend his funural. May the LORD grant His loving peace to ALL his survivors. Regina Maria Fortune-Grady
