Tommy Campsey, age 77, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Rosary will be recited at 6:30 P.M. Central Time on Friday, February 26, 2016 and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Central Time on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Texline, Texas with Monsignor Michael Colwell as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Texline Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Tommy Campsey was born on August 20, 1938 in Goodlett, Texas to Boyd Davator Campsey and Ida Eddie Bee (Meek) Campsey. The family moved to the Texline area when he was young. Tommy attended school in Texline and graduated from Texline High School in 1956. He worked most of his life farming and ranching in the Texline area. Tommy enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, playing golf and water skiing and snow skiing and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Texline. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by a grandson; Garrett Campsey and by a brother Jack Gaylon Campsey.

WIFE: Barbara Campsey of Texline, Texas.
1 DAUGHTER: Rhonda Cantrell and her husband Ken of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 SON: Doug Campsey and his wife Helen of Canyon, Texas.
6 GRANDCHILDREN: Gerald Campsey and his wife Caroline, Hayden Campsey and Kimberly Cantrell all of Canyon, Texas, Reanne Haverty and her husband Joe of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Eranne Johnston and her husband Jarrett of Irving, Texas and Miles Cantrell of Denton, Texas.
1 GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER: Charlotte Campsey of Canyon, Texas.
1 SISTER: Patsy Brooks and her husband Rick of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
