Randy Kohlman, age 69 of Raton, NM, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM.
He was born October 6, 1946 in Raton the son of Francis and Emma Bacca-Kohlman. As a child Randy would preform the Randy’s Comedy Show for all the neighborhood kids. He graduated from Raton High School in 1965 and was a member of the JCs, the Elks Lodge, Bowling League and was an avid golfer.
Randy worked more than twenty years for Safeway, White House Restaurant, White House Bar, Silver Dollar Bar, Johnny’s Bakery and the Yucca Hotel. Randy loved watching old movies, Horse Races, and spending time with family and friends. He especially loved watching trains. He also loved the horse race bugle call, Disneyland and Mickey Mouse.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ronald Kohlman and beloved pet, Boots.
He is survived by his children, Kim Gallegos and husband David of Raton, Shana Kohlman and wife Chrystal of Albuquerque, NM and Jaime Encinias and husband George of Atlanta, GA. Grandchildren Melanie Gallegos, Devon Encinias, Cassia Encinias and Ezekiel Romero, Brothers Richard Kohlman and wife Sissy of Albuquerque, NM and Roger Kohlman and wife Sandy of Pocatella, Idaho, numerous nieces, nephews friends and pets Riley, Max and Charlie.
Memorial services will be Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor George Encinias officiating..
A reception after the service will be at the Raton Elks Lodge.
Arrangements and celebration of love for Randall James (Randy) Kohlman are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
