In Loving Memory of Steven R. Hinkel

Steven R. Hinkel, former resident of Trinidad, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2016, in Minneapolis, MN. He was 52.

He was born in Trinidad, CO, on April 15, 1963 to H.W. “Buzz”  and Geri Hinkel, whom both preceded him in death.

Steve was a 1981 Trinidad High School graduate.  He attended Colorado State University, receiving a BA degree in Civil Engineering. He later  went on to obtain a Masters degree in both Civil Engineering and  Business Administration.

Steve was an avid outdoorsman and liked to hunt and fish. He enjoyed playing golf and bicycling.

Survivors are his sisters Laura (James) Ringo, Trinidad, Linda (Robert) Fiorenzi, Trinidad, brother Michael (Gerri) Hinkel, Pueblo, nieces, nephews and friends.

At  his request cremation with  private family services.
