Sharon Elizabeth Stacy McDade went to be with her Lord on the morning of December 12, 2015 in San Angelo, Texas after a brief illness. At the time of her death Sharon was residing in Big Springs, TX.
Sharon was born in Shoshone Idaho the afternoon of November 22, 1931 to parents George Raymond Stacy and Helen (Bidwell) Stacy.
Growing up Sharon and her family lived in many places but she was especially fond of the childhood times spent in Parker AZ then Tulelake, CA where she graduated High School.
Sharon was fortunate to live her adult life pursuing many endeavors including Farming and Ranching, owning and operating a western wear store and several motels. Sharon was also a real estate broker specializing in commercial properties.
In addition to her family Sharon loved to cook (and was a damned good one), music, theater, movies, reading, and politics (a bumper sticker on her car read “ Politically Incorrect and proud of it”).
Sharon was preceded in death by her father George R. Stacy, mother, Helen O. Maglia and stepfather, Paul Maglia and her longtime companion Leo Weggner. Sharon is survived by her sister Jody (husband Jim) Wheeler of Red Bluff CA.; son David (wife Barbie) Lagan of Odessa, TX; son Roderick Lagan of Lubbock TX.: daughter Diann (husband Jean) McMillan of Baird TX, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, her very special friends Bea Morgan, Shala Hamman, and of course her little dog Ruby.
At Sharon’s request, cremation with no services and inurnment in Trinidad Masonic Cemetery.
