Mary Pilar Garcia, age 78, passed away at home in Model, CO,on December 29, 2015.
She was born in El Queso New Mexico, on May 4, 1937 to Jean (Sanchez) and Tony Padilla. She was a resident of Model for the past 13 years.
She loved to cook and bake for her family. Mary also like to spend her time working crossword puzzles, playing Solitaire and listening to the radio and news.
She was preceded in death by parents, Jean and Tony Padilla and daughter in law Gina Jennifer Leblanc-Garcia.
Mary is survived by 11 children and their spouses,Rio (Renee) Garcia, Borger, TX, Richard Garcia, Trinidad, CO, Doris (Anthony) Aparicio, Mesa, AZ, David (Florinda) Garcia, Mesa, AZ ,Dolly Garcia, Mesa, AZ, Sandra McClain, Pueblo, AZ, Jack Garcia, Mesa, AZ, Grace (Ume) Gohel Gilbert, AZ, Ruby Mirabella, Phoenix, AZ, Beatrice Garcia, Chandler, AZ, and Linda (David) Garza, Maricopa, AZ. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3PM-7PM a the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday,, January 6, 2016 with Rosary at 9AM at the Comi Chapel, followed by the Funeral
Mass at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.
Interment will follow at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Aguilar, CO.
Active Pallbearers are Grandsons, Joey Garza , Rico Garcia, Kishan Gohel, Dylan Garcia, Jonathan Aparicio, family friend, Johnny Rivera, and honorary pallbearer Great Grandson Logan Hunter.
