RATON — Raton High School’s National Honor Society (NHS) was proud to present a check in the amount of $475 to Raton High School’s Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). These funds represent the proceeds from their recently held initiatives which included a dodgeball tournament for 7-12 graders and a concession stand. At the dodgeball tournament, 12 teams participated which proved to be fun for both the faculty and students.
This check is part of the NHS contribution to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Every year, RHS FCCLA sponsors Pink Week Activities in October which go towards this cause. RHS FCCLA and NHS continue to make positive contributions to their community all while encouraging their fellow students to support in the fun.
