Stella V. Trujillo was born February 14, 1946 in Raton N.M. and went to be with our Lord December 4, 2015 in Denver Colorado.
Stella was retired from the Raton Public Schools where she worked for 23 years. Stella greeted everyone with her big bright smile.
Stella was preceded in death by her father Philip Leon Darras, mother Sara C Darras, and her infant daughter Kathy Darras. She was preceded by brothers Manual Darras, Moises Ortiz, Joe Darras, Robert William (Gabby) Darras, sister Rosalie LeDoux, nephews Johnny LeDoux, and Mark LeDoux and niece Angie Mondragon and grandson Leon Darras.
Stella is survived by her husband Robert Trujillo and great grandson Keegan of the family home. She is also survived by son Leonard Darras and wife Debbie of Raton, daughters Michelle Pargas and husband Tony of Albuquerque, Roberta Trujillo, and Rosalie Valdez and husband Tom of Raton. Brothers Buddy Darras and wife Marry Lou, Louie Darras of Raton Ernie Darras and wife Diane of Litteton Colorado, Larry Darras and wife Jennifer of Arvada Colorado, sister Marry Valenzuela and husband Felix of Raton. Stella has 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
She will be sadly missed by all that knew her and loved her. Cremation has taken place at the request of Stella, and there will be no services.
In Leu of flowers, donations can be made to the University of Colorado Transplant Center in Stella’s memory.

I love you with all my heart Grandma you were always my second mother and my life will never be the same without you I’m really sad for us left behind but happy for you that you are with your parents and loved ones in heaven with no suffering or tears…save us a place Grandma we will meet again, until then I’ll always love you…
