In Loving Memory of Carl Marty Martinez

Carl Marty Martinez, passed away peacefully at home, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family on November 11, 2015. He was 55.

He was born in Trinidad, CO on February 15, 1960, the son of Beatrice (Velasquez) and Carl Martinez Jr.

He attended Primero and Trinidad schools, graduating from Trinidad High School in 1978.

He was employed as a cook, having worked at the White Spot, the Hot Spot, C&H and Double D’s.

He loved his family and especially being at  family gatherings. Marty enjoyed going to Cripple Creek and all the biker rallies. Marty liked music, anything concerning Harley Davidsons and sports. Football was his favorite and was an Oakland Raiders fan.

His kindness and gentleness will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by infant twin brother Charles, brother Charles Martinez, grandparents, Jennie and Carl Martinez, Federica and Chris Velasquez.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Beatrice and Carl Martinez Jr., Trinidad, son Anthony Saucedo, Trinidad, sister Vicki (Jay) Garcia, Trinidad, grandchildren, Khaylonni and Isabella, Godson Justin Martinez, Godparents, Madeline and Paul Velasquez, 1 niece, 2 nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and a host of many friends.

DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, FUNERAL FOR CARL MARTY MARTINEZ HAS BEEN  CHANGED.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL NOW BE HELD FRIDAY, NOVEMBEER 20, 2015 AT 2PM T THE COMI CHAPEL.
Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
