In Loving Memory in Louis (L.P.) “Bud” Cook

Louis (L.P.) “Bud” Cook was born in Douglas, Arizona on June 15, 1937 to Joe and Clarisse Cook. Louis Passed away October 31, 2015 at the age of 78.

cookLouis was raised and worked on a cattle ranch in Dawson, New Mexico. He attended grade and intermediate school in Dawson and high school in Raton, New Mexico. It was there he met his future wife Florence Ann Lannon.

Louis was preceded in death by both his father and mother.

Louis is survived by his wife and four daughters, Colleen, Louanna, Polly, and Jill and their families which includes son-in-laws Jon and Ray and grandsons Ryan, Drew, Austin and granddaughters Serena, Cassidy, Caitlyn and Lindsey. He is also survived by four sisters Peggy, Joann, Sue and Debbie and two brothers Charlie and Ray.

Louis served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps and thirty seven years in the Federal Civil Service at the Marine Corps Logistic Base in Barstow, CA. Louis retired as a Senior Production Supervisor in 1999. Louis then worked for Holiday Mobile Homes Park for seven years.

Louis will be cremated and his ashes taken to either Dawson or Raton, New Mexico at a future date for interment.

Private family services will be held Thursday, November 5th 2015 at 3:00 pm at Mead Mortuary.
