George W. Naugle age 69, of Raton, passed away Tuesday October 20,2015 in Raton.
He was born April 11,1946 in Powhatan Point, Ohio the son of George O. and Mary Lou Roberts-Naugle.George was a retired coal miner and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald M. Naugle , sister Sharon k. Naugle , nephew Joshua J Naugle, and niece Teyra D Chavez.
He is survived by Elizabeth (Liz) M Naugle, Gina Naugle, one daughter Barbara Martinez of Raton, NM, son Billy J Naugle and Christal Reid of Rio Rancho, NM, three sisters, Diane Longley of Algodones, NM, Vickie Lewis of Raton, NM and Alma Irwin and husband George of Frankfort, IN. One brother, Richard and wife Martha of Broken Arrow, OK. Eight grandchildren, Alyssa Martinez, Jordan Garcia, Ashlyn Martinez, Damon Martinez, Jayce Martinez, Austin Naugle, Cory Naugle and Jeremy Pacheco and one great grandchild Jeremy T Pacheco and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wilfred Carrasco officiating, Inurnment will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery in Raton.
Arrangements and celebration of love for George W. Naugle are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long funeral Home of Raton.
God knew you were tired, Junior. You fought more than one good fight in this life and overcame many. Doctors said you would never walk, you learned to walk using your brain. The good memories remain here on earth. The bad have faded away. You,ll always be my big brother.
