Lavinia A. (Nina) Padilla of Pueblo, CO. formerly of Raton, passed away Monday October 12, 2015 in Pueblo, CO. She was born August 12, 1958 in Pueblo, CO, the daughter of Wilfred L. and Annie Baca-Carrasco. She was a home maker and a member of the Raton House Of Prayer.
Lavinia is preceded in death by her brother Mark Carrasco and grandson Lawrence LeBlanc.
She is survived by her husband David J. Lopez of the home, four daughters, Vanessa Archuleta and husband Larry of Raton, Sabrina Sanchez and husband Carlos of Raton, Brandy Carrasco and husband Robert of Pueblo, CO, and Krystal Encinias and husband Leonard of Beeville, TX. One son Andrew Padilla of Pueblo, CO. Parents Wilfred and Annie Carrasco of Raton, NM, sisters Camilann Baca of Pueblo, CO, Tirsa Godfrey and husband Ben of Raton, NM, and Lolly Pino and husband Richard of Austin, TX. One brother Wilfred Carrasco and wife Cinthia of Los Lunas, NM. And nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday October 16, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Saturday October 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Earl McQuitty officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton.
