Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Terrell Jones, pastor of the Trinity Fellowship Church in Clayton, officiating. Burial will follow on the Kiesling Ranch near Mt. Dora, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Tom Kiesling was born on September 22, 1947 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Otto and Evelyn Kiesling. He grew up in the Amana Colonies in Iowa and graduated from Amana High School in 1965. He then attended the University of Iowa and graduated in 1970 with his B.A. in Sociology.
Tom loved spending time with his children and granddaughter and his favorite horse Dunne. He had his pilots license and loved to fly, especially in his powered parachute with the Fat Wing Flyers. Tom was a Cattleman and his favorite quote was “There are cowboys, there are cattlemen and there are men who own cattle.” SURVIVORS:

1 GRANDDAUGHTER: Liliana Kiesling of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
1 BROTHER: David Kiesling and his partner Stephen Nathan of Goodyear, Arizona.
