Alfredo Aragon, Jr., age 78 of Raton passed away in Raton on September 30. 2015. He was born April 16, 1937 in Gardner, New Mexico the son of Alfredo Aragon and Rosie :Lucero. Alfredo was a retired uranium miner.
Alfredo is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Alice Berg and Agitha Berg; and Margaret Dominguez brothers Chris Aragon, Nitch Aragon and Isidrio Aragon.. He is survived by daughters Sharon Rosalie Cardenas and husband Antonio of Chico, California, Susan Diana Saenz and husband Louie of El Paso, Texas, Elizabeth Terese Aragon of Santa Rosa, California, and Alfreida Velez and husband Edwin of Woodbridge, Virginia and one son Alfred Aragon, 111 of Raton.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 At 9:30 AM at St. Patrick St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father John Trambley as the celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A pot luck luncheon will be held at the Church Hall following the Inurnment.
Arrangements and a celebration of love for Alfredo Aragon, Jr., are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
