Donald A. Adams, 82 years old, passed away September 13, 2015, at Miners Colfax Medical Center in Raton, NM. Don was born May 20, 1933 in Des Moines, NM and spent most of his life in the Folsom Area.
He is survived by wife Darlene, sons Monte, Mark, Mike, and Mitch, grandchildren Matt, Candice, Chelsea, Tanner, Kenneth Ray, Keith, Patsy, and Camellia; and two great granddaughters, Brooklyn and Kobi. He is also survived by sister, Jeanne Pagett, along with many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Wanda Adams and one sister, Alice Taylor. Don was a loving father, husband, brother, grandad and friend to all.
Don spent three years in the Marine Corp, from 1951 to 1954. When he got out, he worked at a Molybdenum Mine in Climax, Colorado. The past 56 years he spent on the land he loved, the Cross L Ranch, as Manager. He retired in 2011 and until the day he was hospitalized, he fired up his 4-wheelers to watch and experience the sunrise and wildlife retreating into the hills for the day.
