Rose Marie Mackey, age 67, a resident of Solano, NM since 1992 and formerly of Tucumcari, Lindrith and Mills, NM, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, NM.
She was born in Springer, NM on November 8, 1947 to her late parents Warner Fluhman and Ella Buhler.
She was a member of the Solano Homemakers and an Antique Collector.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Warner and Ella Fluhman.
She is survived by her husband: Harold R. Mackey of the family home in Solano, NM; son: Drue Hatley of Harrah, OK; daughters: Toni Jo Skinner and husband Terrence of Virginia; Shana Mackey of Belen, NM; Vonda Leavy of Belen, NM; and Jackie Dutton of Los Lunas, NM; eleven grandchildren; brothers: Ernest Fluhman and Otto Fluhman Mills, NM; sister: Heidi Barley of Hope, NM; and Marlene Reeves of Etter, TX; aunt: Nancy Fluhman of Mills, NM; numerous: nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Mosquero Community Church with Pastor Ray Clark as Officiator.
Viewing will be held between 9:00 am to 9:30 am at the Mosquero Community Church Friday, July 24, 2015.
Interment will follow at the Solano Cemetery in Solano, NM with the following serving as Casket Bearers: Drue Hatley, Terrence Skinner, Wyatt Larson, Chase Dutton, Dusty Leavy and Cody Leavy.
