In Loving Memory of Joe F. Hurtado

Joe F. Hurtado, age 88, passed away at Sangre de Cristo Hospice on November 15, 2014.

He was born in Sugarite,NM on November 18, 1925 to Sarah(Tafoya) and Abenicio Hurtado.

He attended Menaul New Mexico High School. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was employed as a machinist for Byron Jackson in Los Angeles CA for 37 years, until his retirement. Joe enjoyed shooting pool, taking rides to Sugarite and enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful scenery.

He was happy to reunite with his wife Minnie and his five children.

Preceding him in death are parents, Sarah and Abenicio, wife Minnie and sister Helen Duran.

Left to cherish his memory are children , Betty Jo (Tom) Manriguez, Mira Loma,CA, George B.(Martha) Hurtado,Whittier,CA, Gloria(Dave) Armijo,Trinidad,CO,Jake (Rosalie)Hurtado,Pueblo,CO,Connie L.(Rick) Freeman, Fullerton,CA,brother Isador (Rose Ann) Hurtado,sisters, Pat(Rudy) Arellano, Rose Marie Hurtado, Rose Johnson,numerous other relatives and special Muchacho,Alegre.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday,July 26 ,2015 at Noon at the Comi Chapel with inurnment following at in Weston.
